I Specialize In The Following Issues…

Anxiety

I help clients get to the root of their anxiety and learn how to feel safe again. Anxiety often shows up as racing thoughts, feeling overwhelmed or judged, feeling like you are constantly on edge, constantly worried, and/or constantly waiting for something bad to happen.

Self Criticism

I help clients develop compassionate and trusting relationships with themselves. Inner critics stop us from feeling worthy, valuable, loveable, and even likeable. This persistent negative self-talk contributes to anxiety, low mood, imposter syndrome, guilt, people pleasing, and more.

Relationships

I help clients make sense of and heal from difficult relationships with parents, family, and friends. Relationship struggles can result in feeling invalidated and ignored, feeling compelled to keep the peace, feelings of guilt and annoyance, frequent conflict, and more.

Trauma and PTSD

I help clients understand the impacts of trauma, heal their nervous systems, and learn to trust in themselves and others again. Experiences of abuse, neglect, poverty, oppression, relationships with caregivers, and more can leave us vulnerable to anxiety and depression long after these experiences may have passed through our lives.

Emotional Safety

While therapy can be nerve wracking, scary, and hard, you should never feel judged, invalidated, or unsafe. Research shows that a good fit with your therapist is a key predictor of success. Serving my clients in a non-judgmental, validating, and safe way is key to my approach as a therapist.

Then & Now

I am interested in unpacking early relationships and life experiences that have shaped the way you perceive yourself, others, and the world around you. Using attachment theory, we can make important connections that can guide our work together.

Mind & Body

I believe in going beyond insight in my work. This is why I often take a “bottom up” approach to therapy that prioritizes connecting with your nervous system. We do this through grounding exercises, tuning into body cues, and using visualization.

Concepts I Use Often

  • Parts Work

Parts work helps you explore the different “parts” within you, like the inner critic, protector, or wounded child. In therapy, you learn to meet these parts with compassion, understand their needs, and integrate them—bringing more balance, wholeness, and peace to your inner world.

  • Inner Child Work

Inner child work helps you reconnect with younger parts of yourself that carry old wounds or unmet needs. By offering care and validation in therapy, these tender places can heal, fostering greater self-compassion, resilience, and healthier ways of supporting yourself in the present.

  • Emotion Processing

Emotion processing invites you to slow down, feel, and understand your emotions rather than avoid them. Therapy creates a safe space to explore feelings, release stuck patterns, and build new responses—leading to greater clarity, resilience, and freedom in your emotional life.

  • Experiential Work

Experiential work uses guided practices—like imagery, role play, or body-based techniques—to go beyond talking and connect with your emotions directly. This active approach helps you access deeper insight, release old patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change from the inside out.
